Much like the love for yellow cake with chocolate frosting, this phrase is built on tradition, discipline, and the understanding that once something is made right, you don’t mess with it. That cake is a staple at birthdays, Sunday dinners, and “just because” moments, the same way that rule about slamming the screen door too many times is burned into our souls. So we had to make it into a Wumba! This cookie is filled with yellow cake crumbs, and studded with a whole mini slice of yellow cake and centered around chocolate frosting.

Both the phrase and the tradition of an iconic dessert remind us that some things don’t change—and honestly, we wouldn’t want them to.
