Where that Baby Coat?
Where that Baby Coat?
There's wisdom in questions, and while we were asking “can we turn a pecan pie into a cookie?”, somewhere right now, an older Black person is asking where a child's coat is. It's not that younger people can't enjoy pecan pie, but I think it's safe to say that without the older generation, we'd never know about this particular dessert. And it's possible that many a child would be without proper winter attire if not for a Black elder around them, making sure they're bundled up correctly. While you're enjoying this maple infused cookie stuffed with candied pecans and pecan pie filling, remember that I wouldn't be able to give you this creation without the ones that went before me, and children across the country might've went out in the cold with no protection had someone not asked “Where that baby coat??”
Care Instructions: At Madison Square Bakery we individually wrap and heat seal our cookies to maintain peak freshness. These babies are best eaten immediately. For that perfect crispy outside and gooey center, heat cookies in a 350˚ oven (outside of their packaging) for 3-5 minutes or until warm. Extras should be stored in original packing inside an air tight container for up to 3 months in the freezer. When ready to eat, thaw and reheat them in the oven.
